No. 20 Viking Women’s Tennis Claims 12th-Straight NSIC Regular-Season Title

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The No. 20 Augustana women’s tennis group retained the tradition alive, winning its 12th-straight NSIC typical-season title with wins more than Winona State and Upper Iowa.

“It was fantastic weekend for the females,” head coach Marc Kurtz explained. “We performed good doubles and that place us in a superior situation for our singles.

“To win the normal period title is often good but our major ambitions are however in entrance of us and we need to have to continue to keep performing and improving daily to attain those people ambitions. I’m proud of the work and focus that this group has had all year and we are excited for the rest of the season.”

The Vikings taken care of Winona State (7-) on Saturday night and defeated Higher Iowa Sunday early morning (6-1) at GreatLIFE Woodlake Athletic Club, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
